Top 5 Horror Movies

By: Vaisha N., Adithy H., and Neil B.

Do you love a little scare? Horror movies are one of the top genres in America. Here are some descriptions and/or trailers of a few terrifying movies. Caution: If you have your phone or a pencil in hand you may want to put it down because you may jump and scream.

Insidious….This movie is definitely on my ” not to watch on halloween” list.  On April 1, 2011, Insidious was released in America and got a rating of 6.8/10.

2. Amityville: The Awakening

This is personally the scariest to me, because the trailer tells us it’s based on true events, which is probably unlikely , but still. Amityville portrays a teenage girl having to deal with her sick brother, who is the cause of their move to a new home. Since the trailer isn’t the most appropriate you can watch it on your own time if you want.

3. Mama

Mama was definitely a scary movie, combining creepiness with surprise. It’s about a family who adopts two animalistic young girls but find out that something else is in the house. It will surely ramp up your heartbeat.

4. Annabelle

Annabelle is the most terrifying, creepy, and death rattling movie trailer I’ve ever seen. The music adds to the terrifying ambience of the movie. This movies is about a creepy children’s doll who haunts the new family that moved in. This is definitely a must-see if you want a scary movie.

5. Ouija Board

Everyone knows Ouija boards don’t work…or do they? Ouija board sends shivers down your spine the first time you watch it and causes nightmares for days.
