Last Saturday, BASIS Chandler held its Frosty Film Fest for the Upper School. While many students purchased tickets, the threat of rain discouraged many from going. However, the few people in attendance, including me, had a great time. The movie, The Princess Bride, was great for first time viewers, providing a fun adventure with humor and action, while those who were seeing it for the second, third, or even fourth time, enjoyed quoting lines throughout the movie. The pizza and cocoa were delightful, and there was more than enough for us. After the movie, some of the kids enjoyed fort building and blanket fights, along with stuffing themselves with all the leftover food. In the future, it would be nice to have more attendees, but overall I had an entertaining night with my friends at the Film Fest!
