The NBA tipped off only a few short weeks ago, and so far the season has been full of surprises. The Cavaliers aren’t playing like the dominant team many thought they would be. Oklahoma City sits at the bottom of the Western Conference with an injured Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook. Toronto has the best record in the Eastern Conference at 9-2.
It is a bit premature to make predictions based on the first 10 games or so, but we can already see which teams are on the rise and which are on the decline. Toronto, Chicago, Cleveland, Memphis, Golden State, Dallas, and New Orleans have all shown improvement through the first month of the season. Oklahoma City, New York, and Brooklyn are all at the bottom of the league so far.
More updates will come soon as the season progresses and each teams settles in on the standings.
