BASIS Chandler Hosts its First Frosty Event

By Vaisha Nair

On the 12th and 13th of December, BASIS Chandler will have its very first Film Festival!

Love the cold, hot chocolate, and movies? If yes, then this is your ideal theater experience.  There will be two separate screenings. Lower School will hold their’s on Friday, December 12th from 5:30 to 7:30 pm and Upper School will hold their’s on December 13th from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Tickets are only ten dollars, and are available at the front office. The price includes pizza, popcorn, hot chocolate , and of course the priceless experience of being able to sit back and relax to enjoy a great movie.

The movies will be played on a twelve foot screen outside in the courtyard. Don’t worry about getting chilly, because you’ll have a hot cup of cocoa to keep you warm.

You, the students of BASIS Chandler, will choose the movies you want to watch. For Lower School the highest rating for a movie can be PG , and the highest rating for Upper School can be PG-13 (final approval will be given by the administration).

Make sure to get your winter started with a movie party with your friends. Buy your tickets today and spread the word so that the Frosty Film Fest will get around faster than everyday gossip. Hope you can make it!

Vote for your favorite in the comments below.  Be sure to include LS for lower school or US for upper school next to your vote.

Examples:  LS – Elf    or  US – Star Wars

The top five choices for both lower school and upper school will be placed into a final poll after Thanksgiving Break.
