After a month of games, BASIS Chandler soccer is off to a slow start. The team has a 1-5-1 record after its first 7 games. The team sits at last place in the Division II standings. Even though the Bobcats goal differential is -26, the team is only 3 wins outside of first place. It would be nearly impossible to grab the first place, but a win would put us in playoff position. The Bobcats play Adobe Mountain School at Freestone Park on Tuesday September 30th. Basis’ lone win came against Adobe and a win would put them at 5 points in the standings, which would give them 4th place. If Basis hopes to win, they need to pick up the pace; they have been outscored 35-6 in the past 7 games. While a win is not out of the question, the Bobcats soccer team has its work cut out for it.
